FAQ

You’ve got original paintings, fine art prints, t-shirts, mugs, mouse mats, greeting cards, stamps and more – it’s all so confusing! How do I know which one is right for me?

Sorry if you’re confused, but don’t worry, we’ll work this out.

  • One of a kind paintings are 100% original and unique paintings. If you love owning and/or gifting art pieces that no one else will have, these are for you.
  • Fine art digital prints are created by taking a high quality photograph or digital scan of the painting {depending on the size of the painting} and then printing the image onto a choice of archival papers, acrylic sheets or canvas.

On the screen your images look very bright and colourful, are they the same in reality?

Even more so! Although the colours will vary slightly to the colours shown on your computer screen.

The original paintings are made on primed cotton canvas or gorgeous acrylic or watercolour paper, and are much more textured than can be shown on a computer screen.
Each piece of original artwork is lovingly painted by me. And each piece is truly unique – you may see a smudge, or a small splatter of paint – this is all part of the beauty of art created by hand!

The vibrancy of the original art is wonderfully captured and reproduced in the Digital Fine Art Prints and Greeting Cards, so that you can send thoughtful messages to your friends and family.

So how long does it take you to make a painting? I want to know more!

Brilliant! I love that you want to hear all about my art. It makes my heart sing…
It can take anywhere from a few hours to a couple of days depending on how many layers I’m painting and how long drying time is needed between layers. Sometimes I work on a few paintings at once, so whilst I’m waiting for one to dry, I can work on the next one!  I use primed stretched 100% cotton canvas, or canvas sheets from a block. I use acrylic paints but I also use sharpies, charcoal, glue and other materials depending on what I’m working on.

Here’s a quick video, so you can see a little bit of the process.

I’m so excited! How can I get some of your art right now?

You can browse through my original paintings, look through my fine art prints or browse though my Zazzle store for mugs, t-shirts, stickers, mouse mats and more…

You can pay via PayPal or credit card (Visa or Mastercard). All the payments are handled securely by PayPal.

How will I receive my wall art?

Each piece of artwork is very precious to me, and I want it to arrive in tip top condition. To make sure it gets to you safely I pack very securely with plenty of bubble wrap and special corners that fit over – yep you guessed it – the corners of the painting. Then I pop it down to the post office and send it on its journey.

The fine art prints are handled by a third-party digital art company, Fine Art America. They will print my artwork on the surface of your choice and will package and ship directly to you.

Items purchased from my Zazzle shop will be printed and shipped directly from Zazzle.com

What happens if my items get damaged in the post?

I take extra-special care with every package to ensure your artwork arrives safely at your good home. Unfortunately, I cannot control what happens once it’s out of my hands, and so I cannot be responsible for damage that may occur during transit.

Having said that, I do not like to disappoint anyone so please email me if you receive damaged items and I will do my best to make it right.

P.S.

I’ll only send it once or twice a month, so don’t worry about me clogging up your inbox.
